i was in barcelona when this instance of police brutality occurred. interestingly enough, most of the violence was a result of rioting between officers and indignados on the day of the champions league final, a match which normally would have been played on a large screen in the plaza catalunya. protestors wouldn’t leave the square, so violence erupted the morning of the game, and again after barça’s victory.

tomorrow marks a week in prague. it’s picturesque, snowing, and crazy fun. between its local cafes and touristy clubs this city has kept me somewhere between buzzed and belligerent since i got here… today after the above mentioned walking tour we ate at a restaurant where three different tables of men aged 60+ were taking shots with dinner. starting classes next week and applying for an internship, so as to not feel like a complete degenerate.
i think afrojack’s take over control will be stuck in my head for the majority of 2011.
